Glomex aims to simplify life for boat owners with a new VHF antenna that is extremely compact, durable, high-performance, and adaptable to any requirement—while also being quick to install. Built from top-quality materials, the antenna features a 250 mm (10”) fibreglass tube treated with anti-yellowing protection, shielding the internal brass components from stress and wear.With a gain of 3 dB, it is suitable both for masthead mounting—ensuring optimal transmission—and for installation on motorboats using a range of optional brackets. The antenna is equipped with a 5/8” x 24 threaded ferrule at the base, compatible with various optional mounts. It can also be supplied with Glomeasy’s high-quality, low-loss RG8X coaxial cable, available in multiple lengths and pre-terminated at both ends with a compact, professional FME connector. These features give boat owners maximum flexibility when configuring their VHF system and enable exceptionally quick and simple installation, thanks to the FME-UHF adapter and the selection of optional mounting accessories.
