Glass Mat Soromap

SOROMAP 300 g/m2 glass mat is highly waterproof. SOROMAP 300 g/m2 glass matting can be used as the first layer behind a thin layer for moulded parts, or as the last layer for overlaps. The glass matting has good resistance thanks to its structure and the binder that simply holds the fibres together. Before application, these fibres can be easily broken. However, during the process, the styrene contained in the polyester loosens the binder, making the mat easy to shape.
For information, when a layer of glass mat is impregnated with resin, a thickness of around 0.9 mm is obtained. Always be careful to tear the glass mat to reduce the joins.
